The Tree of Knowledge
Man’s original sin is himself; he is his own delusion, his own shame and it comes as it must, from the fear of what knowledge brings. This knowledge is the brutality of man’s microcosm, not the dog-eat world of nature but of the denial that this nature is of you.
Man has not only perfected the hunt, he has perfected the art of hunting the hunter. How ironic it is that he takes great pride in this despite for the most part, not being in control of it. This is an example of the immutable law of nature that reminds us that reality will always succeed when illusion can not.
On his own, man cannot exist without truth. With others, he cannot exist without illusion.
