Part 4: Stan the Koala
After a while, Aho came across a clearing. The sun was quite warm and as he was feeling a little tired, he decided to rest for a while in the shade besides the clearing. As he sat down, he saw that in the middle of the clearing stood a koala. Now, this koala appeared to be a rather stern figure as he was standing in the middle of the clearing in a fearsome pose. He also appeared to have something strapped to his head.
“Hello. You seem to be quite fearsome. If you don’t mind me asking, what is that strapped to your head?”
“Pfft. You don’t know? It’s a potato.”
“Oh. So why do you have a potato strapped to your head?”
“Pfft. If you are trying to reach the summit of Mount Muri, really, you ought to know that you have to be light enough to get up there. It takes a long time to reach the summit you know.”
“I see.”
“Pfft. You have to wear a potato strapped to your head and each day you add another potato, and then another, and then another until your head is full of potatoes.”
“How does that help to make you lighter?”
”Pfft. This is so elementical. It makes you lighter because once your head is full of potatoes you can then start to remove the potatoes. Once all of the potatoes are removed, your body will be light enough to reach the top of the mountain.”
“I see. So, you become lighter than before you started to strap potatoes to your head?”
The Koala looked at Aho sternly.
“Pfft, you really don’t get it, do you?
