Sensitivity

I peered into myself and saw truly, the nature of man’s folly.

Man was conceived through mystery and it is this mystery that is his weakness. He will scream for support and then turn away when he discovers the truth of his reflection in the open hand. And yet all is not lost as it is only the sensitive man who can turn such self-inflicted adversity into something of worth.

Indeed, the truth is that those who are without sensitivity, or who choose to ignore it, are the same whose exploits have been extolled and deified throughout history. It these men who dominate our thoughts, whose failures are put on display as successes. Such insights are clear to those to whom sensitivity is a defining trait.

And yet no sensitivity can overcome an earthquake.
